The collector

Maverick

The treasury is not a shop and it is not a complete inventory. It is the cabinet I can carry: matchbox cars, Lego, Terminator replicas, superheroes — pieces that have been packed, unpacked, and photographed in whatever room the itinerary allowed.

Each specimen gets a number, a label, and a note. The note is written when the photograph is taken, usually the same night, usually tired. That is the point. The collection is built in motion.

Maverick travels for work. The vault travels with him.
